Romans 6:14 (NLT) reminds us, “Sin is no longer your master, for you no longer live under the requirements of the law. Instead, you live under the freedom of God’s grace.”
In Christ, we are no longer slaves to sin! His victory on the cross gives us the freedom to live victoriously each day, not in our own strength, but in His. By faith, we are united with Jesus in His triumph over sin and death. To walk in this victory, we must draw near to Him and align our hearts with His daily. Our battle isn’t against flesh and blood but against three main enemies: our flesh, the world, and the devil. They work to distort our thinking, tempt us, and weaken our resolve. But through Christ, we are “more than conquerors” (Romans 8:37, NLT). God’s grace transforms us from the inside out through the process of sanctification. His Spirit leads, convicts, and strengthens us to live righteously. However, we must respond with daily surrender and obedience to His promptings. Our surrender is a response to God’s initiation of love—it’s not forced but willingly offered. As we bring our hearts to Him each morning, our relationship deepens, His voice grows clearer, and His Word renews our minds.
Victory begins with surrender. Time spent alone with God each day is the foundation for a life of righteousness, peace, and joy.
