Ephesians 3:20 (NLT) proclaims, “Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.” The Greek word for power is dunamis—the root of our English word “dynamite.” This term signifies an explosive, unstoppable force, embodying the miraculous power that resides within us through the Holy Spirit. It represents not just any power but God’s own strength, empowering us to accomplish infinitely more than we could ever ask or imagine. As believers, we are called to be conduits of this dunamis power, allowing it to flow through us as we encourage, uplift, and bring healing to those around us. A powerful example of this in action can be found in Acts 3, where Peter and John encountered a man at the temple gate. Instead of giving him silver or gold, Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, declared healing in Jesus’ name. The man was instantly strengthened, demonstrating the dunamis power at work through Peter. This same power is available to us today. Jesus assures us in John 14:12 that those who believe in Him will do even greater works. Every day, as we remain sensitive to the Holy Spirit’s leading, God’s power can flow through us to impact lives. Let’s step out in faith, ready to be used as vessels for His glory.

Prayer

Lord Jesus, thank You for filling me with Your power. Help me to follow the Holy Spirit’s leading, ready to share Your love and strength with those I encounter today. Amen.
